We have tried to answer the most common questions about The Sail Loft.
Q What time do we need to leave on Saturday?
A We ask you to vacate the premises by 10.00am so that the house can be cleaned and made ready for the next guests.
Q How far is The Sail Loft from the sea?
A It's a 7 to 10 minute walk.
Q Are there shops nearby?
A There is a supermarket (Co-op) about 300m away which is open Mon-Fri 8:00am-10:00pm, Saturday 7:30am-10:00pm and 11:00am-5:00pm on Sundays. Other shops are a little further.
Q How close are links to public transport?
A The railway station is 400m away and the nearest bus stop is 200m.
Q How do I use the internet?
A We only provide an internet connection (wifi), you will need to bring a laptop or similar wireless enabled device.
Q Is gas and electricity included in the price?
A Yes, except during off-season periods when there is a weekly supplement of £25 for heating.
Q Do you provide bed linen and towels?
A Bed linen is included, but we are not allowed to provide bedding for the cot for reasons of Health & Safety. Visitors from overseas can hire towels if required.
Q Is smoking allowed in the house?
A No and because the rear garden is decked, visitors are asked not to smoke there either as this could be a fire risk.
Q Can we bring our dog with us?
A Pets are not allowed. However, recognized service dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
Q Is the house suitable for the disabled?
A Disabled visitors are welcome, but please keep in mind that the house has many stairs to access the four levels which may cause difficulties for some people. The televisions in both the reception room and the double bedroom have Teletext.
